The stand created for Otazu’s jewellery collection was a study in transparency. Visitors entering the heart of the stand could literally view the world outside through rose-tinted glass, a reference to the colour used in Otazu’s packaging. Arranged on a platform, the pretty-in-pink glass panels formed a dynamic contrast to the surroundings and generated a snug sense of intimacy. The platform accommodated four sunken seating areas, which functioned as meeting points. Bordering on the central space, displays in clear glass showcased the latest Otazu designs. A pair of glass domes gave the impression of jewellery floating in mid air. When it debuted at the Bijorcha Jewellery & Fashion Fair in Paris, the stand not only proved to be the destination on everybody’s lips; it also walked away with the top prize for the most innovative and creative design.
