At Barcelona’s Bread & Butter, the biannual international trade fair for contemporary clothing culture, Converse chose an external location – immediately making its brand stand out from the crowd. Instead of sharing a space with several other retailers, Converse occupied an own-able location within the BBB area. Stimulating music drew people inside the Converse area, where rough, bold and graphic shipping containers – each displaying smartly designed product stories – created a festival atmosphere.
