A black entrance tunnel, lined on either side by randomly stacked speakers and moving neon lights, led visitors into a quartet of white volumes. Visitors could navigate the spaces in a loop, taking the stairs up to the first of the brand’s mini-worlds, where illuminated galleries presented iconic Converse shoes in display cases. Boldly painted interiors and walls illuminated by vertically positioned T-bulbs were the backdrop to a wide product range. As a final destination, a rock-star dressing room – a reference to the brand’s target group – doubled as an informal business lounge furnished with comfortable couches, T-bulbs and well-stocked fridges.
